ART Rotterdam – Intersections

11 – 14 February 2016

This year, the second edition of ‘Intersections’ will take place at Art Rotterdam, in the former workshops of the Van Nelle coffee factory (opposite the main entrance of Art Rotterdam). Intersections offers space to Dutch and Belgian not-for-profit organisations, project rooms and artists’ initiatives. Over twenty not-for-profit project rooms and over forty artists are participating in Intersections this year, including Club Solo.

Club Solo will present work by its two next solo artists, Ton Boelhouwer (The Hague, 1960) and Gert-Jan Prins (IJmuiden, 1961), at Intersections.

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Antwerp has selected the work Kringloop (“Cycle”, 1979-1989) by Belgian artist Hugo Duchateau (Tienen, 1938) especially for Intersections, in response to Boelhouwer’s work.

Gert-Jan Prins will perform his work Cavity Live every day. In Cavity Live, materials such as copper sheets and electronics constitute one instrument.

Intersections is free to visit during Art Rotterdam opening hours.
Be welcome!
