During Culture Night Breda of 2014, Club Solo will host the performance Positions together with Public Movement and the Van Abbemuseum. Positions is a choreographed demonstration that invites people to take a stand on a number of urgent issues, and marks the opening of Club Solo during Culture Night.
Public Movement is a performance research body that investigates and stages political actions in public spaces. It studies and creates public choreographies, forms of social order, and rituals overt and covert.
Over the past seven years, Public Movement has explored the regulations, forces, agents, and policies, identity forms and systems of ritual that govern the dynamics of public life and public space. The movement was founded in December 2006 by Israeli artists Omer Krieger (1975) and Dana Yahalomi (1982).
After two showings of the performance, DJs Dickie Rosewater and Sil Flann will get your feet moving!
