De Ateliers Lecture – Joppe Venema

Club Solo organises a series of lectures together with residents of De Ateliers (Amsterdam). In these lectures the artists talk about their work in relation to the residency. Each speaker chooses the next resident to give the next lecture. Joppe Venema was chosen by Clémence Lollia Hilaire who gave De Ateliers Lecture in May.

Joppe Venema (b. 1998) is an artist living and working in Amsterdam. His practice focuses on how human made environments influence the psyche and body while attending to the agency of toxic materiality.
