Solo 37

Peggy Franck

Peggy Franck (Zevenaar, 1978) creates layered work at the intersection of photography, installation and painting. Her work stems from the basic desire to make something visible from her inner world, which she then combines with the world outside. Her work represents both action and space.

Peggy captures her settings through photography and incorporates these images within new installations. For her, an ‘interior’ is an intriguing space between private and public, the inner and the outer world. Her constellations are fluid and open to transformation; just like in the inner world, where things can shift and connect in various ways.

Peggy often works directly in a space and at times paints straight onto the wall of an exhibition space: a physical testimony of the sensitive act of making. She merges different aspects from previous presentations into new constellations and exhibition concepts.

For her exhibition at Club Solo, Peggy creates a painting on the floor of Club Solo.
